A Word That Hurts

We never know, a word we say can hurt others. We never know, a simple word can actually scratch a wound. We never realized perhaps someone could be so traumatized with just words. We never know.

We never know how deep every sentence we say. We never know how bad someone else's day will be after hearing what we say. We don't know what happens when others who are weak in heart hear bad words. We never know how terrible the words we hold in our mouths may be so terrible.

Even if we don't feel comfortable, we can say it in polite terms. Even though we may feel annoyed, we can make sentences more subtly without having to get rid of trashy sentences. Without hurting each other, we can understand. Without a word that hurts, also without a bad treatment.

And for the people who are hurting, let the past be left there. No need to hope that the person who hurt you will come to your senses and apologize. No need to drag on in sadness. You, your day, your soul, is still precious. Just because one or two words hurt you, doesn't mean your life is ruined. You can still walk, honey.

Wounds are wounds. Nothing can change that wound into a better thing than yourself. Yes, that wound can be a medicine for you when you want to get up.

Cheer up! 😇
